I’ll be writing a full series of blog posts about Muay Thai training in Thailand over the next few weeks. I found it near impossible to come across much information about what to expect from Muay Thai training in Thailand as a female and absolute beginner. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to help out other beginners who are interested in this physical and mental challenge, with information and insights to what Muay Thai training in Thailand is like.
These posts will be interspersed amongst catch up travel posts from our last six weeks in Malaysia and Singapore.
If you’ve read my last blog post, you’ll know that I’m currently a few days into a month-long Muay Thai training in Thailand. If you know me personally, you’ll probably be thinking that this is a very unusual activity for me to choose, and what on earth am I doing here?! Don’t worry, I’ve been thinking that a fair bit myself too.
Even with just my first few training sessions under my belt, I have plenty to share about this Muay Thai lifestyle that I am so new to and somehow, strangely enough, am enjoying (who would have thought!). But we have a whole month to talk about what I’ve learned and all that jazz. I figure that I had better start by explaining how I’ve ended up here in the first place!
